These terms and conditions apply to bookings at Citystay Kungsgatan 32 for private individuals, associations, and companies.

Confirmation of Terms and Conditions

The booking becomes binding once the customer listed as the contact person has made the reservation by phone, email, or in person at the hotel. Citystay Kungsgatan 32 (hereinafter referred to as “the seller”) will send a booking confirmation by email in connection with the reservation. Bookings can be made online at www.kungsgatan32.se, by email, or by phone.

Right of Cancellation

The contact person has the right to cancel the booking free of charge no later than three (3) days prior to the check-in date. The cancellation must be received by the seller no later than 5:00 PM on that day. In the event of cancellation, changes, or no-show later than three days before check-in, the full cost of the stay will be charged.
For bookings made by the same contact person that include four (4) rooms or more, or for bookings covering more than fourteen (14) nights, the guest has the right to cancel free of charge no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date. After this point, the full cost of the stay will be charged.

The contact person must make cancellations and changes to their bookings by email (citystay@kungsgatan32.com) or by phone at +46 921 757 78. If the price of the rebooked room is higher than that of the original booking, the contact person is required to pay the difference in price.

Use of the Room and Check-out
Hotel guests are not permitted to admit external persons into the hotel premises. Door codes may not be shared with anyone other than those registered as staying in the room.

Guests must check out of the room no later than 11:00 AM on the day of departure. The seller is not responsible for items left in the rooms or in the hotel’s common areas. Guests should always ensure that doors are properly locked when leaving the room or the hotel.

Age Restrictions

The contact person and all guests must be of legal age. Minors are permitted to stay at the hotel provided that an adult is staying in the same room.

House Rules

Hotel guests are required to comply with the hotel’s house rules during their stay.

Hotel guests must not behave in a manner that disturbs other guests or residents in the vicinity of the hotel. If guests act in a disruptive manner or otherwise fail to comply with their obligations under these terms and conditions, they may be evicted from the hotel.

If any guest in the room is required to be evicted from the hotel, or if hotel staff must be called out due to disruptive behavior or a breach of these terms and conditions, the contact person is not entitled to any refund or other compensation. In addition, the seller reserves the right to charge a fee of SEK 4,000 for an on-call/emergency call-out.

Smoking in the rooms and in all other areas of the hotel is strictly prohibited and may trigger the automatic fire alarm system. Any person who causes an alarm due to smoking is liable for all alarm, service, and cleaning costs resulting from the smoking.

Pets are not permitted in the hotel. Any person who brings animals into the hotel is liable for all service, administrative, and cleaning costs arising as a result.
Any alarm-related or other costs incurred due to breaches of the house rules or accidental alarms shall be borne in full by the person who caused the alarm and, ultimately, by the contact person.

The person staying in the room is fully liable for any damage he or she has caused and for any costs incurred by the hotel or a third party, or arising as a result of actions in breach of these terms and conditions. If it is not possible to determine the identity of the guest who caused the damage or costs, or if compensation cannot be recovered from that guest, the damages and costs will be invoiced to the contact person.

Accommodation Provider’s Liability
If there are problems taking possession of the room, or if the guest discovers defects or deficiencies in the seller’s services or in the condition or furnishings of the hotel room, the guest must notify the seller immediately upon discovering the issue, so that the seller has the opportunity to remedy the matter. Notification shall be made by calling the seller’s switchboard or by emailing citystay@kungsgatan32.com.
The seller is not obliged to compensate the contact person for defects or deficiencies that have not been reported in a proper manner and during the stay.

Room Cleaning

Departure cleaning is included in all room rates. If you believe the room has not been cleaned upon arrival, please contact the hotel at check-in.

Seller’s Liability

If the seller is unable to provide the booked accommodation, the contact person is entitled to a refund of the booking fee. The seller shall notify the contact person of the booking without delay of any changes. The seller reserves the right to make changes.

Processing of Personal Data (GDPR)

Citystay Kungsgatan 32 processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Swedish data protection legislation.

When you make a booking or enter into an accommodation agreement, we need to collect personal data such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, as well as any information required for payment, invoicing, or special requests. The purpose of the processing is to manage your booking and stay, to fulfill our agreement with you, and to comply with legal obligations (e.g. accounting legislation).

Personal data is used solely internally by Citystay Kungsgatan 32 and is not shared with third parties, except with partners who handle payments, booking systems, operations, or with authorities when required by law.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing or as required by applicable law.

You have the right to:

  • request an extract from the register of what information we process about you,
  • request correction or deletion of incorrect information,
  • object to certain processing,
  • and submit complaints to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) if you believe that we are handling your information incorrectly.
